15. Fitness

Today's topic is about the sport. As Ruslan said professional sportsmen usually laughter over the emergency attempts to purchase form before the summer. Indeed, one can notice rapidly increasing number of gym attendants before beach season. To tell the truth, while I also find it stupid and funny, I start to work out much more often and harder before summer. However, people don't do the mistake when they start their fitness routine at spring. First, it's never too late, starting at spring is better than not to start at all. Second, specialists consider spring to be the most successful period for the beginning of the fitness workout. So, do not hesitate, and start doing fitness, but for best results it is necessary correctly to pick up a set of exercises, diet and lifestyle outside training. And I hope that I will follow these advices too:)

14. The victory day

Thank you, Michael for such an interesting topic! Just recently the whole Russia celebrated the victory day and I always has a lot of thoughts about this day. Our people paid for the Victory in the great Patriotic war of such victims, and a fraction of the cost! Therefore, it is important not only for one country, but also for the entire world community. But it is in the historical aspect.
As for the simple human emotions, then the Victory is spring, the sun, the flowers, the happy faces of those who are not from books and films knows what war is. It is the pride. Because of man, for the country, not becoming to his knees. Not in vain this holiday is called light, despite the tears, without which it is not complete, is the pain of those old losses makes itself known. In our family of seven had gone to the front men returned home only one - my grandfather.

11. The lottery

Lately in the class we've watched a film after the book we read "The Lottery".
I really liked both the book and the film. However, the film as it often happens made stronger impression on me than a book.
Just as in the book, the first scenes are greatly made in funny free easy way. It really seemed like it would be the normal lottery with some great prize, even despite the fact, that when I've watched a film, I've already knew what will happen in the end. However, I'm sure that It was absolutely impossible to predict any tragic end from the beginning, especially the real one. This unexpectedness strengthen the effect made by the climax and the whole story.
It was really scary when citizens of a small town, who know each other very well, were so cruel to kill their neighbor and friend in such a violent way! It really impresses and make you think about traditions and its purposes. We recognize ourselves in these citizens who do something without knowing what for they are doing that , just because everybody does that. And it does scary us, cause we don't want to blindly follow someone's ideas.
So, all in all, it's really a great film that reveals many vital thought in people's minds.

8. Car

Can you drive a car? (Or would you like to learn to drive a car?) Do you enjoy it? Are you afraid of driving in Moscow? Why or why not?

I really loved this topic, offered by Liza, as I'm trying to get my driving license at the moment, and I hope I will drive a car soon. So, of course, I'm thinking of how dangerous are roads in Moscow, how good will I am as a driver and so on.
A am really looking forward to learn to drive well as I'm not really good at it now. And I can't wait to start going everywhere by car. At the same time, I am really worried because I'm not a lucky type and I always get into troubles, and I'm afraid that driving won't be an exception. I really worry about dangerous accidents that may happen. 
But for the moment I really enjoy the process of driving, and I think that I am quite good at it.
So I hope that I will be soon a cool driver)

6. Silly beliefs

Firstly,I would like to say thank you to Andy for such an interesting topic!
As much as you I believe that people's appearance depends a lot on his or her character.
I also have another stupid belief in the deep meaning of all the numbers. Every time I get some personal number, like ID number or ticket number I try to analyze this number and try to find some coincidences with my personal life facts. That's rather funny and it amuses me to make this analogies. It's more fun than real belief,however sometimes it seems to me that some numbers follows me through whole my life and it is even scary.
All in all, I think it's great to have some small beliefs that makes your life more interesting.

3. Thing to get rid of

If you were able to get rid of one thing in the world (for example, death), what thing it would be?

Firstly I would like to thanks Danya for such an interesting topic that for sure have inspired me. However it doesn't mean that I didn't like the others, so thank you all for the efforts put in thinking out such a wonderful topics.
Moving to the main idea of this post, to start with I would like to mention that its definitely not a death as if nobody dies, than nobody is being born. So, the importance of death's existence is a very difficult topic, I won't write about now.
One thing I want to her rid of in the world is aggression, as this condition turns a human into an animal. This condition is the reason of the most of crimes committed. What is the most important this feeling of agresiv detestation leads to the action, uncontrolled by mind. And to end it up, aggression is absolutely useless and doesn't help to solve any problems.
So, all in all, I think the world would be better if there were no aggression in it.

3. Best friend

This week there were a lot of topics, offered to us by our classmates and all of them were quite interesting. However, one of them took my attention as just by the time I read it, I have already knew what to write about.
So, my best friend. Useless to mention, that I do like her very much) so I will just describe why I do appreciate her so much and think of her like of the part of my family. Firstly, she is always ready do help me, no matter how busy she is and how serious is my trouble. Secondly, she is a person, I can share my feelings and absolutely any thoughts with and not to worry how will she take it and will she tell somebody about it. The other thing I like about her is mostly about or relationship. It is usually said girls can't have a real friendship as they are always jealous about each others successes, but as to me and my friend, we do not compete in any field and that is really great.
All in all,she is a great person and a great friend and I am really happy that I once met her as I can't imagine my life without her.

2. Horoscope

Firstly, I would like to thank all students, who published blog topics this week. I liked all of them, but one topic I enjoyed the most - topic about horoscopes. I can't they that I really care about what is written there, and what do the stars predict, but I love to read them after the period of time they describe and be surprised by the coincidences with real life. Of corse I understand that they are written in the way that you should find something in common with the texts of horoscopes. However I find it rather funny to think: "oh, that's exactly what happen to me!!")
As to me, I'm Scorpio, and I'm supposed to be taught, strict, organized, and so on, in other words- all the characteristics I do NOT have:) actually that one of the things that makes me think that you shouldn't trust)
All in all, a do like horoscopes, but I do not believe in them.

1. First week of the semester.

Write about your first week of the semester.  How do you like your new classes?  Are you looking forward to this semester?  Why or why not?

The new semester has started just recently, but it seems like we've been studying for months already. It is really difficult to force yourself to work after such a long vacations. As to new classes, actually, I love them all, and I like them more than previous semester classes. I have the history of art class, and it is my favorite one, I really like the subject and the professor, who is a very interesting person with a talent to awake student’s interest in art. Despite the fact, that this subject has a few in common with economics, I think many students of NES share my point of view. Other subject that I’ve chosen is computer science, and unless the subject is rather difficult, the explanation of a professor is so clear that I understand everything and I like that, of course. As to compulsory subjects, I haven’t had microeconomics yet, so I can’t say anything about it, but I’m waiting for this subject with fear, actually:) As to algebra, it’s quite difficult, but the fact that I do really need this subject make it a little bit easier to study:)And the last but not the least, is English, that is quite similar to the previous semester and the fact that I took it once again explains everything  itself:)
